Hop Up MAGAZINE

September '97

I like axles, hinges, chrome, carburetors, steel wheels, sheetmetal and, well, you get the drift.........
These are some of the things that come with traditional hotrods and I don't see much reason to abandon them. Hell, we're just now really perfecting some of it!

This is not to say that the modern treatments don't work good and look great. They do. But we're not done with the neanderthal technology we inherited from those giants of the 30's, 40's, and 50's. So we fix, adjust, align, dampen, tweak and generally talk the talk. What's that you say? Talk the talk? Yeah. Walk the walk and talk the talk. Hop Up style.

Hop Up is an icon of the brutally cool days of the early 50's when it was hep, avant-garde, and a little bit outlaw to be a hotrodder. We like that idea and pledge to 'talk the talk' here. There's a style about hop and we're into it.

Rights to the above trademark are owned by two guys who have jobs, and have hotrods. This may not have been the case with previous owners.

If you lost money on a previous 'publishing' effort, we may be able to get you some magazines; but it will not be a subscription deal. Nothing will be offered for sale unless it is already printed, and in inventory at the distribution center of the Hop Up Towers in Downtown River City, hot rod center of the earth.

We'd like to hear from you to see if you like this net operation. Cool cars, cool people and the right events will be reported while we plan what's next. This oughta be fun. At least the price is right.
