VENE VIDE RODZY
(I came, I saw, I lit my roadster)

Remember when NSRA or someone used to say "the fun's in the run" ?. Hey.

Back on the road going south.

The tallest flagpole in the U.S. Blacktop. Watch for deer. Broken lottery machine. Blacktop. No stockers on the road. Scenery. Decreasing radius turn. Downshift. 'Glad I put the radials back on. Scenery. God, it's hot, man. Wonder if it'd been cooler with the top on? Naaaaah. Watch for deer. Maybe they should watch it. Scenery. Two lane. A little holiday traffic. Better than working for a livin'. Bump it up to 85 or so.......

Wonder what it really feels like to make a pass on the salt? Stinkin' hot. Jug of water in the cooler. That big block sure sounds good when he's on it! Yee Haw!!! Those people in the mini-van think this is a kit car.Cool. What day is this? Work , day after tomorrow. REWIND. Don't think about work. Four lane. Where the hell is that 5 window? Scenery. I don't guess I've ever been here, have I? Sacramento 154. Scenery. Oil pressure just stays up there, How do bearings and everything stay together so long? More holiday traffic. I thought I never traveled on holiday travel days. Remenber next time. We're only goin' 50. Hey, how did that 5 window get ahead of me? Those Olds bumpers are so bitchin. Have to ask if he's got any more of 'em. Christ! He's got alot of parts.

FIVE HOURS LATER

The Oasis. Check in. Quick dip. Whiskey reward. Reflect. Boy, I've got it good.
