And they laid me to waste.

Whew.
And I deserved all of it. Well, Dickweed gets some of the blame.
See, they were in the Teaser, dry cruisin’ and drinkin’ beer, sittin’ there right in the garage; I walk in, jump in the right rear seat with them, and one of ‘em says, “Yeah, everything ‘cept that alternator; what’s that about, Morty?”
“Well, it came on the banger engine that came in the five window and who had time to generate it while we were thrashing for Bonneville last year, ya know?”
Sheesh!

The Flat Hill Climb in SLO looked great: we saw pics (didn’t go) and the ‘Street Rod’
gang from whom we have heard such rank dismissal of these low-tech activities, bragged about how cool it was, in a case of ‘Aw, you missed it’., we guess, since it happened right on the grounds of their deal.
So, now it’s cool?
