Greed and PasoGREED
Call it what you will. That need to have all of them; the fixation on the kill, or it might be the acquisition, or the fabricating or the designing or the using of them. But this hideous addiction to the cars is actually a function of greed. You are bent on having as much of this Detroit opiate as you can get, and you may fill yourself up by obsessing on one car, or multiple cars….but cars.We are all in it alike and differ only in the budget of available funds and disposable time.
Point is, amigo mio, you are full of it. And if you’re not, you want to be.Yer just plain-ass greedy.
Oh,yeah….....................
PASO
For the inaugural PASO VERITAS award, Hop Up picked a groovy ‘40 Chrysler coupe, chopped, with a Packard grille. Absolutely tasty.
Mark Garza from Orcutt, Cal. is the owner. We didn’t get a chance to say ‘Hey!’ but, what a mellow ride.
You’ll see that our man has taken a relatively obscure car and made it elegant by putting it closer to the ground (a goal of ALL auto designers that was confounded when engineers got hold of ‘em), giving it a grille from a more expensive car, dropping the top to make it look larger overall, like a classic, big car.
It’s jus’ bitchin.
