SEE AND BE SCENE (DRIP PAN)

This-here is where we run pics of iron that we get in the mail or by e mail. You know, kind of a ‘Reader’s Rides’ thing or “See and be scene”. In fact, we’ll kinda call this “See and Be Scene” !! So if you got a project or some iron you had for a long time or whatever, e mail us a look at it and hell, you too could be Fairly-Famous with 18 other really bitchin guys.

G’day Mort, I’m just emailing you to say how much I enjoy Hop-Up online and your Annuals & to show you some pics of my project.
In the first pic is how I bought it in April ‘06 for $175 + $17.50 tax.
It came with a 3-port head off a Chev truck. The roadster rear came in the mail from the USA this past week & within a couple hours I had it mocked up.

motor is a ‘25 Chev with 3-port head.
gearbox is ‘29 Chev same with diff.
front end is ‘38 Ford and I plan to keep the spring in front.
Chassis is ‘30 Chev.
Body will be channelled and a belly pan formed.

Thank you for your time!
Cheers
Jimmy

KEV’S ‘SLICE’ OF WYOMING

Last month we said, “See the USA thru that sliced rectangle..” and Kev remembered this shot he took on a hardball rip to Bonneville from Mass. That’s what we talkin’ ‘bout, Bub; that’s what we talkin’ ‘bout.

NICE SIERRA DRIVE

I guess. Doug Clem can be counted on for several of these spectacular shots every year; he lives up there and is all over it in his Fords.

Golly, 1986? That’s a really weird firing order, ain’t it? Naw, Rob Gibby sent this over while we reminisced about B’ville ‘06.
